Hey folks. Trying to write a review of the Sleepy Jackson's scala gig a couple of weeks ago, but can't remember for the life of me what the support bands were called, and can't seem to find it anywhere on the internet! If anyone knows it'd be great. The first support was Luke Steele from the Sleepy Jackson, dressed up like an alien and speaking in a funny voice over a Martin Luther King speech... it was amazing, don't feel like I'd be doing the gig justice without mentioning it, but I can't remember what name he went under! |

Did a check too, G, and also failed. Either post on the band's message board and see if someone knows or just go into minor detail but say you didn't catch their names... or don't mention at all. Luke of the Sleeps is a flawed genius, Good Dancers is one of the best 5 tracks of the noughties but he's seriously wrong in the nut. |

That first album is basically prime-era Lennon, was gutted that gig clashed with The Organ. Are they playing any festivals / anyone heard the new album yet? |

Cheers Bovine. Yeah Good Dancers is a bit of a classic, played that and a host of other great songs. Really good gig but like you say, he's clearly bonkers... Haven't heard the new album yet, its supposed to be pretty amazing. |
