Well, I'm watching the last ever "Top of the Pops" and I have to say it's good of the Beeb to soften the blow by reminding us all in excrutiating detail just what a mega-tsuami of shit it truly was. The sight of Dave Lee Travis', Jimmy Saville's and Tony Blackburn's smug, self-satisfied, self-adoring, hideous faces makes me want to smash things. Specifically, it makes we want to smash Dave Lee Travis, Jimmy Saville and Tony Blackburn. Every second that Saville remains alive is an affront to God. And when Jesus sees Tony Blackburn he sincerely regrets redeeming mankind on the cross. Thank heavens future generations will be spared this soul-destroying, scum-sucking evil. |
