Want to improve your live music? Work better together as a band? Learn new material? Get feedback on your current ability? We can help! StageCraft is a 9 week part time music performance course running weekly in Stockport. We employ top teachers, gigging musicians and session players to teach you new material and get you working as a tight band. We are looking for people that want to meet new musicians and form new bands, or people that gig often in the area. Our teaching staff currently includes Sheila Gott, voice coach for Robbie Williams and previously Take That. She’s worked with James Brown, Van Morrison, Leo Sayer and many others. Our Drum, Bass and Guitar Teachers are the best in the area! What we do – For 2 lessons you will be in a fully equipped classroom in a small instrumental group with your teacher learning new material, rehearsing and developing your skills. Then every 3rd week, we hire out a local venue where you come together with musicians from the other StageCraft classes and perform the music you have been working on. You receive constructive advice and criticism to vastly improve your musical ability. We also record your performances to DVD so you can see for yourself what you look and sound like while performing - allowing you to make your own decisions about your stage presence and musical communication. This is the second course we have run! The first was extremely successful and we have plenty of re-enrolments. Students who have never gigged before have met new musicians and gained a massive amount of confidence and know-how, while regular performers have reached new insights about their on-stage work. Please note: We are none profit-making! We're not trying to rip you off, just cover our costs and provide you with an excellent opportunity to improve your music! Sign up online now! The next course begins on the 5th of September and due to the number of re-enrolments, places for new students are fairly limited.Classes are for Singers, Guitarists, Bass Players and Drummers |
