So, what's everyone got planned for this weekend? Tonight I'll be at The Borderline in London to see Amsterdam. The band are recording a live album there that night and ex-Creation boss Alan McGee is doing a DJ spot. For those of you yet to of heard of Amsterdam here is a video of their song "Joe's Kiss". The song was recorded live for Radio 2's Janice Long show. The original version of "Joe's Kiss" cand be found on the Amsterdam album "The Journey" which came out in 2005 on Beat Crazy Records. And Saturday night I'll be at the Love's Gone Bad summer special to listen to some 60s garage & psych (see flyer below) |

Lupen Crook & The Bridge Gang at Nambucca's tonight, big run tomorrow day then going to see The Rum Circus at water rats in the evening, all-dayer of sorts at the Brixton Windmill on Sunday featuring Goldrush, Tommy Truax, Piney Gir's Country Roadshow and Manic Cough amongst others. Anyone else going to any of these? |
