the trailer looked shit. other than partridge everything coogan has ever done has made me suspect that there's more of alan in him that he cares to let on. he's a deeply unattractive man and not even vaguely funny.

However, I'm currently watching Newsnight and Paxman is having a go at some tree-huggers over the whaling thing and he's just accused someone of "anthromorphising"

I loved Partridge but I think you're right about Coogan. His appearances on Jonathan Ross have been cringeworthy, creepy almost.

I know someone who had an interview at BabyCow (his production company) as PA to him and (writing partner) Henry Normal … Normal was fine but Coogan apparently vetoed her because “she was too sexy and would not have helped with his sex addiction.” I’m not kidding, he said this straight to her face…

When 24 Hour Party People came out I heard someone describe the film as "the biggest prick in Manchester being played by the second biggest prick in Manchester..." sounds pretty apt from what I've seen from Coogan (and Wilson for that matter) in interviews 'n' stuff...

See how the latter brings out his eyes and compliments both his hair and eyebrows.
