Just got an email from an unknown Brazilian. It doesn't seem to be spam as there's no links to anything. However it's mildly amusing if only for the state of the English. If anyone can translate it it'd be useful... "Olá, I speak of Brazil. He forgives if my English is bad. I am ordering you this email to clarify a doubt. It knows the Wayne Rooney, boy prodigy of the English election and the Manchester Utd? Then, it is protagonist of an excellent advertising of the Nike. In this advertising, while it appears the Rooney beating a ball, itrolls a music. It seems The Rakes or The Futureheads, or then Art Brut, i only know that he is excellent. He wanted to know if you know who you are that she touches the musicof the advertising? Thank you." |

Arf! Great stuff... I think he's trying to find out who's playing on the soundtrack to a Nike ad featuring Wayne Rooney. But i'm not sure... My guess is he wrote it in Brazillian then put it through some sort of instant English translator ... Have you replied to him yet?? |

Just received another email from him... Hi my name is Marcélio, I speak of Brazil. This is the second time that I write. Taste very of the bands Art Brut, The Rakes and The Futureheads. They very make a sound influenced by punk English, well 77 exactly, rude, simple and direct, but very produced well, with clean and discrete strokes. I do not know to say in terms technician but it is this that I feelwhen I hear these three bands, i wait to have been clearly. He wanted to know if you know some another band who has the samecharacteristics of Art Brut, Rakes and Futureheads? Since already I am thankful for the attention and the reply. Strangely garbled once more. Maybe it's Ronaldo and he's got himself caught in a sausage mangler? Ok then who do you reckon I should recommend to him? |
