Contrary to previous information supplied by us, Sister Ray did in fact receive their full allocation of 40 Raconteurs singles from the label.

Unfortunately, we now know that most of those copies were misappropriated within our shop after delivery, and therefore were not available for our customers.

We acknowledge that XL, Beggars Banquet and the Raconteurs fulfilled all their commitments to Sister Ray, and apologise for suggesting otherwise. "

Are they going to apologise every time an extremely rare and sought after single is "misappropriated within our shop"...? :roll:
