| Post subject: | acoustic/random act wanted for THIS SUNDAY |
oh yeah it's that time of the month again, when rolls into the pleasure unit in bethnal green. due to organisers (daddy long legs) being extremely concentrated on their upcoming single, and their drummer breaking a rib, they've been left with a small hole to fill in this month's bill. the quiz is set, the DJ is booked and will be celebrating his birthday on sunday, the tables and chairs are deep and crisp and even. the prizes are ready. so an original and perhaps slightly haphazard act is sought for this sunday, 12th march to perform for 20 minutes or thereabouts during the course of the evening. any takers? (past favourites have included banjo player/story teller SLEEPY ED HICKS, his crazy breakdancing/puppeteering/clarineting friend JIMMY, the wonderful STEVE GASKELL VERSATILE BRASS and kent lovies HEXICON. just for reference.) |
