Its that time again folks... the World Cup song!!! Our greatest moment in this regard may be reprised... So, what should the song be? And who should sing it? Personally, I prefer the old-skool approach of all the sqaud in a recording studio wearing headphones and singing out of tune.. "This time, more then any other time, this time.." |

Yeah, totally agree. No using an old song (eg Glad All Over, Come on Eileen, etc), it has to be written especially for the occasion, be rubbish, and the camera should close in on some uncool replacement left back miming, badly, the words - Jamie Caragher, perhaps?. It should finish with a close-up of Phil Neville's awful tackle. Yes, that tackle...

Does our world cup song have to be English? I think the FA should take its time and pick the best song, irrespective of nationality. "Vamos ir, Inglaterra!" perhaps - or maybe "Dieses Mal, mehr als jede mögliche andere Zeit, erhalten wir ihn recht.". |
