Tis true Baz. I wouldn't want my boys to play there anyhoo (well I would but...) Ooh totally unrelated to the first question but didn't want to waste it on another new thread - don't forget to get your copy of The Wickerman in the Guardian today (for Woodward's accent alone - a classic) * Not for the faint hearted or people offended by inaccurate portrayals of scottish accents. |

I didn't need to be told it wasn't Britt's arse - it was way too big for her frame. And yes, that arse could not dance if you put a gun to it's cheeks. Matt, you've destroyed the ending for people who haven't seen it yet. You should have said *'Turn away if you don't want to know what happens next...'* ![]() |

There are a lot of myths around the film (negatives buried in motorways, etc) which make it more of a cult movie than perhaps it deserves to be. But it is a good example of finding horror in other people without needing an external force like the devil and I like it's creepiness (anything with Lord Summerisle or dancing children give me goosebumps). The soundtrack isn't bad but I'd say that the songs are folk-inspired compositions rather than being anything more 'genuinely' folky - another example of a myth caused by the rarity of the record. |
