Has anyone picked yet? Tempted to buy (Can get it cheaper on e-bay) but wanted opinions as my record collection does not contain too much of this type of stuff with the exception of the odd Dusty Springfield, Sandie Shaw and Shangri-La's CDs. |

It's a fantastic comp but 60 quid is way too much considering most will require minimal royalties to be paid to the artists/writers. |

Thanks Mingey - I had seen it on there but I want the CD's for DJ purposes. Actually buying it in a Lossless format on that site still costs over £22! |

Nah - I don't want lossy plus I would use ogg vobis on my player (oi! That's enough - tech nerd ed!) I may download a select few as lossless so I can give them a spin. |

The missus bought it. I don't know who was more excited. Of course it's excellent and worth the money. You'd pay a lot more to put the songs together. The cds are all designed to look like compacts. It beats the pants of a Bert Jansch box set anyday... |

...and you won't get the superior packaging and the excellent 100+ page liner notes from downloads. Alternatively you could go to Sophisticated Boom Boom with a tape recorder... |
