Rubbish scheduling and the repeats on E4 were not at consistent times either. You'd think that once you had spent money on a series and know it has a cult following you'd want to try to offer it to a wider audience and give it a better time...like, what they are doing with The IT Crowd for example. They even put Shameless on at 10pm fer crissakes! Oh well, perhaps BBC may pick it up...they seem to have already got Mitchell and Webb to do a TV sketch show (they have already done a sketch series for Radio 4). Not sure that BBC scheduling is that much better though - isn't it showing Boosh at 11.30? It's fer stewdents tho' innit? Right, I am now off to the Boosh thread, you peanuts!!! |

It can only be a good thing, as the British Film Industry has been quite keen on a comedy revolution in the last couple of years. Simon Pegg went on to do Shaun of the Dead after Spaced was axed, so we could well see something from the Peep Show boys soon. |

At least it won't have the chance to go down the drain. Lest we forget, the most godlike comedy of the last few years, 'Garth Marenghi's Darkplace' called it quits after just six episodes. Although there were rumours of a feature film... |

mmm. Wasn't that another comedy doomed to the dark supper time of the tv soul?  What do they think we are, insomniacs? And they shouldn't be encouraging me to tape off the tv surely?
And it hasn't managed to get a dvd release as yet; which is a shame as I missed practically all of it. It was Noel Fielding's favourite comedy of last year apparently. Not that the fact that he knows the people involved has anything to do with it... |
