yes, it's the sunday circus™ again this week - mine & dook's monthly soirée of quizzery, live music, recorded music, chairs, prizes and buffoonery. it's at the pleasure unit on bethnal green road, it's £3 and the quiz starts at 8ish. rounds this month: jamie's jammy anagrammy round the how high is the rock star round al's bands wot have appeared in the simpsons picture round the horribly out-of-tune guitar guitar intros round bands this month: your hosts the lovely DJs this month: the angular and ever-curious vodka volauvent hurrah and huzzah! now we just need some nice folk to come and enjoy the feast for the eyes and ears and brains that we have laid on for them. |
