Playing football I used to pick up loads,, the daftest was getting a slide tackle straight up the rusty sherrifs badge, cue hilarious stud in my arse etc banter, and a very embarrasing visit to the quacks. |

Lopped the end off my finger once (above the bone so it grew back) while chopping apples and talking to some friends over my shoulder - did the full sitcom delayed reaction thing. Also miraculously didn't kill myself when I drilled through the main power cable to my old flat, blowing the 40A master fuse in the process. The electrician who came to fix the mess insisted on exmaining the drill in great detail to work out how come I didn't fry. |

I got utterly twatfaced around a few mates' place the night when England lost to Portugal (?) in the 1986 World Cup final group stages. During the subsequent four man riot I managed to get severely bruised around my, er, upper thigh. That was embarrassing when I then subsequently had to go to the doctor's and try to explain how it had happened. |

Ah I've got a good one! When I started travelling in September Melbourne in Australia was one of my first ports of call to stay with some uni friends there. On my first night, through a mixture of jetlag and exhaustion, I managed to sleepwalk through a pane-glass window next to my bed and climb back in while still asleep! I woke up in the lounge completely disorientated with blood everywhere, I'd managed to cut over 50% of the tricept on my left arm on the broken glass. No permanent damage though, and it makes for a funny story. Plus the scar looks like a crocodile bite so I can just tell people I was wrestling with one. |

well, obviously there's the singed minge which you all know about. then there was the time i concussed myself playing batman (ie: bouncing up and down on my bed) and boinged into the wall. then i cut my head open after falling over drunk, falling down the stairs of a bus (that wasn't moving) and getting such a bad whiplash injury i was off work for a month. and did i mention that when i was about five i was hospitalised after swallowing a huge marble? honestly, there's loads more but i don't want to bore you. accident prone, moi? most certainly!! ![]() |

I put a hole in my head that they lost a flannel in as a kid after jumping a flight of stairs in my superman outfit as I thought I could fly, turned out to be wrong. |

Who's they? The hospital (using flannels?). Or did your parents install one of those nipsy-style teatowel holders and use you as a bathroom accessory? |
