The Research are like a 50's film in techni-colour, as their cheery melodic pop excites all the kids in town.
"Out of the pick'n'mix of indie-pop, make sure you get a half-pound of The Research" – NME.
The Wakefield based three piece consist of two pretty ladies and a keyboard playing boy, who after borrowing a drum kit and a bass guitar couldn't believe how easy it was to make music.
With sunshine melodies and heartfelt lyrics, they create the magic of a classic pop cocktail combining moments of vulnerability with moments of pain on a bed of upbeat tunes.
Now armed with a whole album of songs behind them, the debut album Breaking Up is released on 27 February 2006. This tour is sure to be the most exciting yet.
These two London dates fall on the week of the album's release, a monumental moment for the band, and as the finale of the tour will they undoubtedly provide some of the best performances and minutes of fun you may ever endure!
