![]() fucking hell dude! that sounds horrific. hope you're feeling better today. *tentative and delicate hug* i wonder if the searing heat of the beverage was direct result of your predeliction for piss-weak tea? the minimal brew-time cutting down down the gap twixt boiling and drinking... or in this case dropping. brew for at least 2 minutes children, the gonads you save may be your own. i think we've all learned a valuable lesson here. weak tea can ruin your sex life. |

Ooouch! Sorry to hear your news, but glad the pain has died down a bit. I've seen the effects of boiling water when a mate's kid poured a cup over it's self in a restaurant. Not pleasant. However you can't make a decent cup of tea unless it's with boiling water, and according to Thomas Twining it should be brewed for up to 5 minutes, by which time it should have cooled down a bit. Hope this helps with future cupas. |

oh god that sounds awful. while not being able to rival that injury, i too was an accident prone kid. despite deliberately avoiding climbing trees etc i have been in casualty more times than i can count, so much so that it sort of became expected of me. luckily i seem to have grown out of it as i have got older anyway if it makes you feel any better, when i was a kid (10 or so) i was playing in the bath with a toy submarine which in those pre health and safety days had a serated leading edge. the upshot of this was me being dragged out of the bath and to casualty with blood gushing from my 'man bits' for stitches. i still have the scar both mentally and physically |
