It All START!s On Saturday This Saturday (15th October) at Phatz Bar, Maidenhead, the inaugural START! event will take place. All proceeds from this musical extravaganza are to be donated to Cancer Research UK. In addition to the appearance of 3 great bands, Jensen (as featured in session on 107FM), The Amberblacks and Caine, there will be the opportunity to lay your hands on some genuine MOD merchandise. Sponsors such as modclothin and Lambretta Clothing UK have generously donated items to be raffled off on the night. Other sponsors include GuitarWorks, Replay Records, Hickies and Lambretta Club of Great Britain, all of whom have also supplied goodies to be won on the night. Tickets are selling fast but there are still a few available. These can be obtained from the venue or online from www.wegottickets.com/event/7151 alternatively you can call Matt on 0781 0010961 or see the website www.targetpromotions.org.uk for details. It is hoped that START! will generate in the region of £1,000. This will be achieved through ticket sales and related merchandise sold on the night. The event is officially sanctioned by Cancer Research and attendees will be able to donate directly to the charity on the night, should they wish to do so.
