Moneytree are Campbell Austin (guit/vox), Michael Anderson (keys/vox), Joshi Fine silver (bass/vox) and Ollie Austin (drums/perc).A four-piece from Southampton, Moneytree are the exponents of an unlikely blend of underground rock, jazz and roots music; a sound which shifts from harmony-layered serenity to fast-pace, visceral assaults and makes use of the outright poppy and the downright awkward alike. With a support tour alongside West London’s prog-rock legends Mystery Jets already under their belt, the band now look forward to a thirteen date headlining U.K tour in September (including 3 charity shows raising money for www.handshaketokware.org.net) and support appearances alongside the likes of Million Dead, The Suffrajets and The Boss. The band are also due to work with Dan Fernbach (of Reuben and Red Dragon fame) on a new video.
