I can see how you latch onto different musical styles as you grow - it's strange though as at school I was into T-rex (glam rock in a big way), Bowie, Mamas and Papas, Kenny Rogers, Perry Como (surprisingly nobody else was! - I was told all the time that I was born in the wrong decade/s) - I didn't follow any trend and i've never tired of those artists. I've always been a bit of a musical misfit  Well at least Morrissey is still alive, Pol, so I may catch him live sometime...

I used to listen to the cure every day for 3 years. i feel like throwing up whenever i hear a note by them. however i HATED and you will know us by the trail of dead when madonna came out and hated them more after source tags was released but now i cant stop listening to them. its funny how much more you enjoy music if you disconnect yourself from the opinions of others |
