Really really sad. Not many politicians are worthy of respect but to me he was. If he'd not looked like a garden gnome he could have been a contender (and I don't intend this as a joke). On just about everything his politics and mine were the same even before Iraq. |

It is extremely sad news, I used to enjoy reading Cook's occasional articles in the Guardian's comment page. As my mum just so perfectly put it, 'he spoke a lot of truths.' It always happens to the good ones. |
