Bunch of jessies. They may be quaffing tinnies between overs and dismissing English batsmen for fun and may be as arrogant as only an Aussie male can be but one of their fast bowlers (namely this big girl's blouse) says any more bombs and they are going home. Jesus. Even the Pink Gingham Kid tweaks the nose of danger every day to get into Westminster and these antipodean jellies can't even tour the shires without cacking their pants!

YAAAAAYYYYYYYY! missed every single minute of the second test on telly so far (but kept careful watch on the score from my desk at work) flicked on the tv this morning and through a crippling hangover witnessed the most incredible end to a test i can remember seeing! TWO RUNS! COME ON!!!

I've been watching cricket for 25 years (yikes!) and the only test to match that for excitement was Headingly in 81. But I haven't seen a test played more ferociously than that. What we have here is the two best teams in the world and neither is giving an inch. The rest of the summer should be fun. |
