"Backstage at Glastonbury, Emily Eavis had a massive Oxfam poster that she persuaded the great and the good to autograph, the idea being to auction off the poster and send the proceeds to Oxfam. So far so good, right? So yer Coldplay, yer Basement Jaxx, yer Killers et al duly daubed their names on the poster and all was going swimmingly until Bobby Gillespie turned up. The millionaire warbler, obviously still intent on smashing the system from primrose hill within covered the poster with 'Make Israel History' and several other friendly slogans. Ms Eavis ended up letting PRML SCRM keep the poster. " |
