I can think of a few but right now i'm listening to Melys playing "live" in 2001 when they first started playing "Chinese Whispers". What a great band but their last album this year was a big disappointment. Don't know why they never fulfilled their potential but maybe because they are a Welsh speaking band (although they mainly sing in English) may have something to do with it. I'm not sure why they have never made it as Peel gave them a lot of exposure (loads of sessions) or maybe people just don't like them. Any others we can add? |
