I was thinking the same myself, although you might be being a tad unfair on Sir Bob. I think what is striving for in right and proper, and the drop the debt campaign is a noble one.
Unfortunately though, Sir Bob & “Saint” Bono are the kind of people with the profile to get the job done. It’s like kissing babies for politicians, but it gets them votes. Meanwhile Geldof gets what he wants.
However, nothing sickens me more than Bono on his soap box!
As for the line-up, there we are in total agreement. It’s pretty weak stuff, but Annie Lennox was the one that got me too… I mean, talent aside, when did you last hear her on the radio / see her on TV?
