Tom McRae is seemingly ignored by many, yet his songcraft stands out from many others. Live, his exceptional voice shines: the songs Border Song and Karaoke soul in particular. His following in other European countries such as France has led to an increasing amount of support, yet commercial success such as that experienced by Damien Rice currently seems to escape him. And with his third album released, 5 years since his debut perhaps he will not be granted the success he deserves. Still his many loyal followers should keep the cashflow continuing! |
