The crowd were going crazy and I had to keep checking my drink to make sure it had not been spiked

I nearly died of boredom and the guy next to me had to bring me back to life twice as they punished me with two encores. The ghost of Patsy Cline tapped my shoulder and whispered to me 'Don't worry Cavey, i'm not getting it either'

Utter shite! I'd rather be shot in the arse than sit through it again. If somebody writes a review of a Hem gig/album/single can they please explain to Cavey why they are above your average (or below average in their case) country band playing social clubs every night of the week - I would not book them for any social club I work in. There was a moment where I wanted to bomb the stage and take them all down but I was out-numbered (8 of them in all - a mixture of teacher types/pretend hippies/city rednecks) I don't think i've ever left a gig so angry

(£15 a ticket - 2hr 30min journey) Now where did I put my gun...
Martha Tilston (support) was as marvellous as ever - a beautiful and humble performer - the Hem singer could take a note from Martha's book...
