As I told Westie a while back, I found the record unimpressive and the over-fawning hype is certainly emperor's new clothes (great turn of phase, btw). I listened to it again last week twice, on the personal request of a best mate who loves the record and wanted me to give an honest listen... and honestly, it's just below okay for me. I can think of 50 other new/new-to-the-scene acts I'd prefer at the moment. |

I find it totally unlistenable and over-rated. Reading music blogs from across the pond you would believe it's the greatest thing since sliced bread. I found it a painful experience to be honest and I am certainly glad I downloaded it and not getting hoodwinked by those said reviews and ending up with an expensive tea coaster. |
