First time I grew my hair, when I was about 17 I decided to dye it dark red! As if that wasn't bad enough as soon as the dye started growing out my hair went pink 
I remember having spikey hair on top, shaved at the back and sides with a step and tram lines! |

I once had a haircut that made me look like a secretary. It was foul, shoulder length and flicky. In the 80s I had my hair cut like Tina Turner and had big thick blonde streaks in it and I used to backcomb it so it was huge and then use half a can of hairspray on it. I thought it looked great at the time and it's only with hindsight I can see exactly why I only had one boyfriend throughout the duration of that hairstyle and he was my hairdresser

I had a perm when I was 6 years old. Awful. For one thing, perms make you look Bozo The Clown. Secondly, they dry the shit out of your hair and sap all the shine out of it. Along with mullets they should be banned. |

in my goth days i had a terrible back-combed hair explosion a la mike peters from the alarm. then i cut it off, bleached it blonde and spiked it up for a truly heinous billy idol hair do. thankfully, i've never had a perm. |
