Are you listening to the same song as me? This is a GENIUS track - like Coldplay mixed in with the best '70s country soul. I also loved the debut single (worry about the wind) but I think this beats it. Also, they are AMAZING live - I saw them play with Doves the other night and they had the crowd eating out of their hands. |

Are there actually any decent bands coming out of Ireland at the moment? It just seems to be a constant stream of weedy David Gray-lite singer songwriters and awful pap bands like Hal, Bell-X1 and the Thrills. |

There's a fantastic band that Fernando and myself caught a few weeks back, they're called Humanzi. No releases as yet (is there, F?) but they are really, really good live. There's also a band called Mainline that you'll most likely hear of soon, as they're tipped for UK success this year. A bit JAMC, BRMC, My Bloody Valentine. They're not bad, but think they're a lot cooler than they actually are. Other than that, errr... no. ![]() |
