On Friday night at Brighton Beach club I heard a great cover of The Zombies She's Not There. I asked at the time who is was by but had a bit too much to drink and forgot. ![]() Anyway, the song is quite similar to the original but it slows right down on the chorus. Does anyone on here have any idea who it's by? |

Santana probably did the most well known cover of it, as did Neil McArthur and Vanilla Fudge. In fact everyone's been at it.... http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=17:1373090~1~T00A |

It's not Santana or the UK Subs. I remember the DJ telling me that the band had hits under a different name. The only one I can see on allmusic that might be the one is the Purple Helmets (aka The Stranglers). |
