I said no, not because I'm a prude (which I am) but because it is not necessarily big or clever, even though it can be. As soon as it becomes widespread (which it will anyway) then all you'll get are foul-mouthed yobs on the radio swearing to impress their mates and trying to upset their parents. Swearing effectively is not only a skill but a wonderful enhancement to the language which really ought to be taught in schools. |

I live in a country where you can fined by the Federal Communications Commission for swearing on network TV or the radio - the so-called "Seven Dirty Words": Shit, Piss, Fuck, Cunt, Cocksucker, Motherfucker and Tits. Almost everyone has said these words at least once in their lives. If you're offended by them, get a fucking life. There's a lot of things in this world that are much more offensive. |
