That 14 you skated over - 14 Iced Bears (did a Peel classic single). And Seventeen by the Regents (...and not yet a woman) is the song you're looking for.

26 is a toughy. I googled the 26 Songs album by the Melvins.

Seventeen by the Regents, was that the same as the song the Sex Pistols did?

We'll cheat - 28 days later - it's a film but there was music in it... :? so like pants over arse cheeks, we're covered...mmm...i'm going straight to number 50 because I can - '50 ways to leave your lover' the best song with a number in as far as i'm concerned apart from two little boys and three times a lady....
Have I ruined the game now? Ignore this post...back to 28...dum de dum...
*whistling.....*

My God!!! And that post of mine was the 50th reply - this adds further proof, if any were needed, that the number fifty is the number in music....

The Patsy Kensit band - Eight Wonder's - hit was 'I'm Not Scared', by the way.

I'm not ashamed to admit that I love that song and found Patsy's 'breathy' vocals very moving.

Yes. The sampled 'aw-aw-aw..awawaw..awawawaw..' bit was relatively new then. I'm slightly ashamed to admit I like it too. But only a bit.

No shame, it's one of my favourite pop records from the 80s. Written & produced by Pet Shop Boys, sounds like a Pet Shop Boys record and you really have to wonder what the non-descript lads who backed Patsy actually did on the record. A mean Andrew Ridgeley impression, no doubt.
