I know this is a music site but Chelsea have just bagged the title by virtue of Arsenal losing at Bolton. Gutted as an Arsenal fan.

I hope you're not looking for sympathy, Teasy, in view of the amount of success Arsenal have had in recent years. You should try being a fan of one of the 8 Premiership clubs (my own included) that begin the season hoping they can avoid relegation.... We're on 31 points now so that looks less likely... :D As an ABU (Anyone but rag scum) I don't mind who buys... sorry wins... the title as long as they don't come from Trafford (and their fans from Essex, Torquay, Malta, Cork, Singapore, etc).

I'm one of the growing legion of fans who prefer life in the Nationwide - more open, less prima donnas, less agents, less cheating... The season we won it (3 years ago) ranked along the best I can remember... goals galore, winning most matches, proper football and you could actually get into games.

I wouldn't ask or expect sympathy, the truth is I just love my football, didn't miss a Southend game for 5 years, then followed Cambridge for 3 whilst at uni, and I travel the country watching Charlton games with a mate who is a massive fan. It was merely a comment on how p'd off I was cos of all the Chelsea fans that have come out of the woodwork.
I did have a season ticket for Arsenal for 2 years though before they bought out that crappy bonds system.

Well if it's any consolation Chelsea fans are bemoaning the new influx of chelski followers. Just as, no doubt, Arsenal fans have moaned how difficult it is to get tickets now their team is/was successful and there are more fans nowadays etc. It's the price of success blah blah blah nes pas? (Is there an analogy with music fans who bemoan about 'their' band selling out once they go top 20 etc ?). I, for one, am glad to see a change happenning. I'm bored/sick of the smug, arrogant managers, players and fans of Man U and Arsenal. Chelsea's success (so far) may be to do with the "bottomless pot" but since when has the Premiership been about anything but money and increasing shareholders stocks? Oi! Keane! Eat my prawn sandwich. Ahem. Oh dear. I must have a couple of pints too many. Hic.

Yeah, I prefer it when Norwich are in the top three rather than fighting to get out of the bottom three. I'm slowly having to come to terms with the idea that we might be relegated this year (nine points behind 16th placed Blackburn at the moment), though remaining optimistic... but the lower divisions are more fun. It's a shame though because we really don't deserve to be down there the way we've played most of our matches.

Must be doubly annoying when Ipswich are going to swap places with you

I don't doubt for a second that Blue Scum are coming up, but I'm not prepared to say we're swapping places... Dean Ashton has already proved himself as a goalscorer at Norwich, all he has to do now is put it in the right net and we'll be fine.
