any acousticky(made up word)/folky gigs going on this Saturday in London that are cheap or free even :? - or a pub/place where I can chill to folky sounds? Any ideas? Cheers. Checked your gigs page - nothing there. Also while checking gig reviews saw one by Tim B for Tom Mcrae? Is that the Tim B? The only canary on here? Great review but still do not like the man - he just doesn't do it for me.

For £5 and return train fare (£36) I can come to your house and play for you.

Yes, I take requests. And for a small extra fee I can do wry observational comedy songs about George Bush or Tony Blairs.

I promise not to drink much and I will not steal any of your china ornaments to trade them for crack.

Simon Love, cheaper and safer than Pete Doherty.

Also available in Leonard Cohen for funerals.

Ah, thanks for that Toady - you are an informative gent, gawd bless you :D

Hee hee Simon - well how can I resist that offer? I'm set for Saturday now but might hire you for my birthday this year - i'm actually thinking of turning my house into a pub dedicated to acoustic sounds called 'Acoustic Caves' Ah, I have such vision - I would make you my resident band for your honesty and silky sounds...

P.S - I have no china ornaments...
