Managed to see this yesterday. Terrific. I enjoyed it so much I've vowed to become a dork in 2005 (nobody say a word!) as they seem to get all the ladies... Excellent feel good brainresting visual gag movie.

Also watched Animal Factory, an ok grizzly prison movie with William Defoe (brother of Jermaine) and Edward Furlong.

Napoleon Dynamite is on my list of 'to sees' which is high recommendation when you consider I only saw one film last year :D

Kinda begs the question as to what that film was... :?:

As ND comes with Simon Pegg's (Spaced, Shaun of the Dead aiydk) approval, it is on my to see list too though given my natural laziness I can/will wait until it comes out to rent. Saw 'Garden State' recently:quite nice, in a twee, depressed, angsty sort of way (very 80/90s). But I really liked the actor/director/writer...Did anyone ever catch Scrubs on TV? I thought it was superb (one of the best American comedies of recent years imho). But one that seems to have disappeared from the screen.

That sounds a perfickly grown up film to watch -The Incredibles is on my list too. My inner child, you know. :?

I can leave the other bit of fluffy nonsense I think, not sure my feminie side swings that far. Anyway, I'm sure that next xmas/new year we shall be forced to watch both Bridget Jones movies, Love Actually, Notting Hill and Four Weddings etc whilst eating/doing cold turkey and drinking alka seltzer and absinthe. The horror, the horror.

Yes, hello again Dawni. Was only looking through the member list (and no that's not a register of the names of the sxp writers) and was thinking that we hadn't heard from you in a long time.
