But spare a thought for those who have lost loved ones in the tsunami disaster - i'm sure we all feel for them and in the words of Sir Mercury -'but life still goes on' (I got the Queen's greatest hits in my stocking) So give extra hugs to the people you love who are still with you and have yourselves a life-changing year.

Yeah, happy new year to all you rock n roll kids out there in sxp land from Sverge!
Had a great time over here and hope you lot did aswell wherever you were. It was quite emotionalover here following the events surrounding the tsumani. I believe that Sweden had the highest number of victims for a country outside of the region (though I could be wrong). It was refreshing to be somewhere that showed its national grief with dignity without lowering itself to the ludicrus over emotional bullshit that we seem to decend to whenever something similar happens in the UK.

Anyway I digress.....

Here´s wishing you all the very best in 2005 wherever you are in the world, and to the guys who run this site may it continue to grow and remain to be the best alternative music website in the UK. :D

Right, I´m off to get plastered again and eat some more bizarre euro-nosh!

Well, I'm sure I'd feel much worse if I weren't under such heavy sedation.

As long as there's sex and drugs, I can do without the Rock 'n' Roll....

I'll tell you what is shocking - did anybody see the photos of people on sun loungers with the backdrop of pure devastation? I would be so ashamed if I knew them - is it just me or could anybody else find the heart to carry on holidaying in that atmosphere? I just couldn't. I know it would not change things but I just couldn't bring myself to carry on as normal while all around me there are scenes of loss. I guess people are built differently. I'm sick of the news coverage of it already though - they love a disaster. The media just will not let people rest in peace. Anyway hope everybody is feeling positive about the New year - I hope we all make the most of it.
