As predictable as we feared. Franz Ferdinand get album and Libs single of year. Not even in the top 30 are Go Team, Shins and Magnetic Fields...

I have a theory about NME, you know in the film Private Parts about Howard Stern more listeners listened to criticise, ridicule andbe outraged, NME represents that element of readers. I don't know anyone, myself included, who buys it and enjoys reading it. Just get it ot disagree, although they did give the new Embrace album 0 out of 10, which was deserved.

:D I love that movie! I do know the scene you're referring to as well. One of the suits at WNBC tells Howard's boss Pig Vomit about the ratings, something about the average Stern fan listening for an hour a day and the average Stern hater listening for 2 hours a day. And they both had the same response when asked why - "I wanna hear what he'll say next".
