XFM's Christian O'Connell is doing a Rock School competition. Some of the entries are really good, but the shining stars are a bunch of 12 year olds doing 999's Black Flowers for the Bride - absolutely fucking brilliant!

And here's me thinking this post was going to be about Henry Thomas & Co. 
Anyway, does anyone know of anyone else who has gone from musical artist to music teacher? The only one I can think of is Martin Hewes who was never a major star but his band the Redskins were very influential. Martin Hewes |
