Yes, writing can take away your stress if you are interested in writing something of real value. Just involved in what you are writing in a peaceful place like sea view or at your room and in this way your stress can be away from you for the short period of time.

Writing is great for relieving stress. There are tons of blogs on the internet that can teach you how to journal. Give it a try but commit to journaling every day for a month and see how it works for you. I'll be surprised if you stop after that.
