Really wasn't fussed about the last Tennis album (or what I heard of it, I couldn't bring myself to listen to the whole thing for fear of disappointment. Not liking their glossier sound).

However, the deluxe edition has this track on which is more in tune with their lo-fi beginnings.

I know this thread is "Bands We Like", but I don't think I knew about this lot although they've been around for years so this it probably the best place to stick it. A new track by Frog Eyes which is a little bit Bowie-esque to my ears...

Any views on these then?

I lost interest in The Libertines years ago, but after saying that if their Glasto set was anything to go by, the new stuff is much the same as the old, I have to admit their new single is a bit different and I actually like it too. Strip away all the tabloid stuff and whatever and they're still a good band.

I've always liked Beach House, and 'Teen Dream' was even better than the early stuff, but 'Bloom' was just a copy really. The new album is apparently more "aggressive". They certainly sound different on 'Sparks'.
