Remember collecting the bubblegum cards for the Champions at the time. Pretty sure I've not seen the show since its original airing though so it was probably not that great.

I saw some Champions repeats a few years back and you're right, they were pretty terrible, but still couldn't turn the TV off whilst Alexandra Bastedo was on screen.

Just read her obituary today - yes, she was incredibly good looking. I bet you fancied Marty Hopkirk's widow as well!

Surprised you haven't seen the repeats on ITV4 - they've covered all those shows over the years! I loved the fact that it was set around the world but they never left the studio and used back projection to give you the idea that they were in places like South America!
