If we have to have a song that the Jesus & Mary Chain have covered every other day does that mean I can have a song that Spacemen 3 have covered to go in the days between?

The Droppies did some good covers most notably The Bunnymen as cynics would say. Fantastic live band and this cover was a staple in their live sets around 88/89. I remember getting a flexi of this given away at one rather sweaty gig way back.

Original - The Standells - Sometimes Good Guys Don't Wear White (1966)

Cover - The Mighty Lemon Drops - Sometimes Good Guys Don't Wear White (1989)

I only discovered the Nerves version recently. Bit cheeky of Blondie to borrow it so soon after its original release, unless I've missed out on some back story.
