Milchy, you spoke too soon! Mickey the Moog and I have just composed a top five for this week but didn't have time to do anything else but laugh at each other's choices! The theme only occured to us when I caught sight of the Moog's revolting tote bag (a true Shoreditch icon of post-ironic cool)!

Nobody got any comments on my top five?
I thought it'd be a contentious one, although frequent poster Kev may have the same ambivalence towards cartoons as he has to films.
I thought there were a lot of contenders that didn't make the cut; Who Killed Who?, A Wild Hare and Drag Along Droopy to name but three.

Er, yeah, what is the appeal of trousers?

I don't mind cartoons, I just prefer the modern stuff: Simpsons, Toy Story, etc. I used to love T&J but it just all seems very limited and dated now. There's occasional flickers of interest in seeing cultural references (the flares and maxi dresses in Scooby Doo and the black maid's ankles in T&J for instance) but that's about it.
