Frankie & The Heartstrings were so alarmed by the lack of record shops that they've opened their own!

Oh. Well the story I posted was dated 9th October! So the BBC must have missed Bola's post too.

Jesus, calm down. Bola's link was directed at "Anyone in Sunderland?". Being the opposite end of the country I didn't think it would be relevant to me. Plus I said in another post that I haven't been able to keep up with al the posts these past few weeks because of family and personal reasons - which you'd know if you READ THAT THREAD!

Cheers for posting, Bola. Not a big fan of that shop but west end rates must impact his prices.

He doesn't actually mention whether that's just the stock and lease or stock and freehold premises. I suspect former which ain't such a great deal.

Haggle on Essex Road are shutting down soon, apparently.

Rudest shop owner in history, coupled with ramshackle stock storage and over priced stock... Hmmm, not sure I can shed a tear...

No tears being shed here either. I reckon he sent more trade to Flashback down the road because his arrogant attitude.

Impressive performance. I don't personally buy anything there, though I do occasionally browse the one in Bromley, but I am glad to hear that they're doing ok. Basically:

Oh and Haggle have a half price sale at the moment. Think it might be for their entire stock. That probably makes them just about normal prices....
