Cue Stuart Macconie... Mint Cracknell (shards of glass, probably, covered in choc) Texan Bar ("all you gotta do is chew chew chew". Jaw numbing it was too) Cresta ("it's frothy man!"..."It's undrinkable man" would be closer..) Spangles (the dentist's best friend in boiled sweet form) Aztec Bar (was this coconut covered in choc?) Candy fags (still available but no longer with cool red tip) Candy chewing tobacco (coconut dribbly shit) Jubblees (spelling? huge triangular ice pops) Rancheros (bacon flavoured crisp) Hemeling Lager (awful advertising campaign involving other beers being carried around in wobbly plastic glasses - Hemeling man had a proper glass and didn't spill a drop. Unfortunately for him. Tasted like piss) Tribune (appalling fizzy yellow "beer" - again dodgy advertising killed it. Images of hundred footy fans on terrace with waving scarves going "Tribune Tribune". Clearly in a zombie like state having drunk the vile weak alcohol brew) Any more shambolic products from the past that we can get misty eyed over...? |
