Is that them? I think one of them is in The See See too. Use Your Other Head is a great tune!

I like it (love the sound), BUT...has everyone heard 'Rape Me' by Nirvana?

I like it too - there are about half a dozen Nirvana songs that use a similar riff to that - and it reminds me of a very early Gorky's recording I have.

Similar, yeah, but that actually IS the 'Rape Me' riff, trust me.

Don't get me wrong though, I like it!

Yeah it certainly reference Nirvana - but I love the rawness with their sound....

Ditto, I think it's ace actually, and I think you're right that it's probably a reference/purposeful nod to Nirvana rather than a rip.

I thought it was a purposeful nod towards GWAR

Haha, if only. 'Rape Me' written and widely bootlegged in 90', Pussy Planet first emerges in '92.

I was expecting to hear some homage to Chicago and Detroit circa 1984. Still it was interesting but I couldn't imagine me rushing to hear some more. Unless you find Whatever!

By new do we keep to new bands or just new tunes?

Correct me if this doesn't count but Sad Day For Puppets released a new EP yesterday so here's a track off it.

New bands really but I'm partial to a spot of SDFP.

Well I wanted to post it somewhere without starting a new thread, so this seemed the closest fit. EP is excellent by the way.

It's a bit 'indie' for me, and the girl's voice isn't my cup of tea. But good drum sound.
