Over at Collapse Board, this was Everett True's song of the day today. One of his better choices, I think.

Not too sure about this one, but think Kev & Trev may like it.

There is something in that Milchy. But not enough to get me excited.

'Cool sounding', but somehow empty, lacks punch. Not Burger's usual quality.

Sorry, not been on for ages...

Yeah I quite like that. Be interesting to see what else they've got. To me that sounds like a fair to middling song by a good band, which basically means I think they've probably got better tunes somewhere. Just an inkling though... I like.

This German lass is a bit of a maverick. Really like her. Lo-fi and distant but intricate and inventive. Quite original really. She writes, plays and produces everything herself

Shall have to give this a go at the weekend. If he sounds anything like Ray Lamontagne there will be trouble.

Well, it didn't sound like Ray the Mountain. Bit dull though.

Mark Fry (he of 1970's brief folk fame followed by decades of obscurity) is back with another new album. And it's fucking lovely.

Thursday

Hiding away from us all in deepest darkest India - but sounding like a perfectly good US alt-rock band.
