Odd how the arts editors of both the BBC and Guardian who appear in the BBC news clip both look like a Salvador Dali painting that's been in a fire.

Didn't realise the woman who won the Turner prize was the singer in Talulah Gosh!

She wasn't the singer.

That was Amelia who is now in Tender Trap.

;-)

(she may have done backing vocals though).

Amelia (then known as Marigold Milkshake) & Elizabeth (Pebbles Paintbrush) both sang lead in Tallulah Gosh. Elizabeth left about a year before the band called it a day. She was replaced by Eithne Farry.

I'd kinda forgotten she sang lead. I thought she was more back up. I knew she wasn't in them when I saw them......

Anyway... I've just sorted my top 30 songs of the year and Tender Trap have crept in. They've got a reasonable chance of ending up in the albums list too.

I may be mistaken, but I remember them singing together in harmony a lot.
