Good films: Fish Tank The Damned United Katyn Looking for Eric Up in the Air Beeswax Tony Manero Afterschool Milk (2009?) Awaydays (2009?) Wah Do Dem Kicks Tricks 33 Scenes from Life Skin Hollywood films that were either okay or surprisingly decent: Knowing District 9 The Hangover Films I didn't see but wanted to, so can't comment: In the Loop The Class Antichrist Gomorrah Moon The White Ribbon 35 Shots of Rum Broken Embraces Precious The Limits of Control The Informant! In general, it was a naff year for films. There have been some great films at festivals over the past few years that will never see the light of day. |

In the Loop Moon A Serious Man Looking for Eric Up Nowhere Boy The Man who will Come (great Italian WW2 film that I saw at the London Film Festival - deserves a wide release). Missed out on loads though - wanna see Fish Tank, White Ribbon, Antichrist & Katyn. |
