i have been away for christmas and using an internet cafe just logged on to find i have spammed everyone in my hotmail address book. i guess it must be from this cafe what do i do? is there some way to fix it? is it safe to use? should i just abandon it? |

If it was used to spam contacts you're probably ok. The spammers just wanted your contact list to receive an email supposedly recommending a product or service from someone they trust (ie you). I'm not in your contact list but I've received strange emails from mates in the past that were clearly spoofed and I just deleted them. Send an email to your contacts apologising. You might want to change your password too though I supsect it was a one off. Happy new year btw. |
